Emory & Henry Women’s Golf Competes At Bridgewater Fall Invitational Monday

HARRISONBURG, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team continued the fall portion of its season on Monday at the Bridgewater Fall Invitational. Though the Wasps did not post a team score, both players recorded remarkable rounds.

Emory & Henry
Junior Chandler Thomas (Elizabethton, Tenn.) tied the E&H record for 18 holes by shooting a +15 (87) to sit tied for 22nd. Senior Ashley Underwood (Strawberry Plains, Tenn.) carded the third-best round in program history with a 90 (+18) and is tied for 28th overall.

The Leaders
Elizabeth Self from University of Lynchburg leads the tournament after firing a 73 (+1), sitting three strokes clear of second place. York (Pa.) College leads the team competition with four scoring players in the top 10 at +26 (314).
