CHUCKEY, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team played its first round in more than a year Monday, competing at Tusculum University's Agnes McAmis Memorial Invitational. E&H's players are competing in the event as individuals as the Wasps do not have the required four players to earn a team score.

Freshman Emily Smelcer (Walland, Tenn.) is tied for 22nd after shooting an 89 (+17) on Monday.
Freshman McKenna Quillen (Abingdon, Va.) carded a 108 in her collegiate debut and is 39th in the field.
The Leaders
Tusculum's Nilubol Panno leads the field by three strokes after shooting an even-par 72. Alayna Perryman of Milligan University and TU's Olivia Cunningham are three shots back at 75.
As a team, Tusculum leads after day one, shooting a 303 with four players in the top 10. Milligan is seven shots back in second, also placing their four scorers in the top 10.
