For the second round in a row, freshman McKenna Quillen (Abingdon, Va.) shot a new collegiate-best, carding a +23 (95) to sit tied for 20th.
Freshman Emily Smelcer (Walland, Tenn.) carded a 107 (+35) on Monday to finish 26th.
The Leaders
Boo Newsome of University of Pikeville leads the field after turning in a +5 (77) on day one. Milligan's Alayna Perryman shot a 79 (+7) to sit two shots back in second.
Milligan's "A-Team" leads the field with a score of 334, 11 strokes ahead of the Buffaloes "B-Team." MU has eight players in the top 10 and ties individually.
