Emory & Henry Women’s Golf Leads After 18 Holes At The Buzz-Off Invitational

ABINGDON, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team leads the field by three strokes after Saturday's round at the Buzz-Off Invitational. The tournament is taking place at Glenrochie Country Club.

Freshman Lexi Humbert (Greeneville, Tenn.) is tied with sophomore Emily Smelcer (Walland, Tenn.) at second overall with a score of 88 (+16).

Freshman Briah Frisbee (Leicester, N.C.) sits tied for sixth at +18 (90) with freshman Reece Chasteen (Lake City, Fla.) while sophomore McKenna Quillen (Abingdon, Va.) shot a 96 (+24) to round out the team in 14th place.

Freshman Maggie Jolly (Troutman, N.C.) is playing as an individual and is in 17th place overall after carding a 101 on Saturday.

The Leaders
Erin Musick of the University of Virginia's College at Wise is the individual leader after 18 holes, shooting an 87 (+15).

Emory & Henry put up a team score of 356 (+68) to lead the Cavaliers by three shots (359) while Mars Hill University is another three strokes back (362).
