Emory & Henry Women’s Golf Sixth After 18 Holes At The Agnes McAmis Intercollegiate Monday

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Golf Team is in sixth place after the first round of Tusculum University's Agnes McAmis Memorial. The Wasps tied the program's second-best team round at 332 (+48) as they put three players in the top 20 of the 47-player field.

Emory & Henry
Junior Emily Smelcer (Walland, Tenn.) is tied for 11th place with a round of 80 (+9) following Monday's round. Freshman Katie Hall (Abingdon, Va.) carded a +10 (81) to tie for 15th while sophomore Briah Frisbee (Leicester, N.C.) is tied for 17th at 82 (+11).

Sophomore Lexi Humbert (Greeneville, Tenn.) posted an 89 (+18) to tie for 35th overall while junior McKenna Quillen (Abingdon, Va.) is tied for 43rd after a +21 (92) showing.

The Leaders
Emmanuel (Ga.) College leads the team competition after posting a score of +27 (311) to lead Christian Brothers University by six shots (+33).

Tusculum's Nilubol Panno turned in a +3 (74) to lead the tournament by one stroke over Madison Cline from Carson-Newman University's "B Team." The top 10 players in the tournament are separated by just five shots.
