
CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Emory & Henry University Women's Golf Team got the 2024-25 season started on Monday at the University of Charleston Invitational at Berry Hills Country Club. The Wasps sit in fifth place out of the 15-team field following the first round of competition.

Emory & Henry
Sophomore Abby Bradley (Castlewood, Va.) is tied for second place after shooting a +6 (76) on Monday while junior Katie Hall (Abingdon, Va.) and freshman McKenzie Hauk (Kingsport, Tenn.) each carded a 79 (+9) and are in a five-way tie for eighth.
Senior Briah Frisbee (Leicester, N.C.) and freshman Ally Childs (Leesburg, Va.) turned in rounds of 91 (+21) and are tied for 56th.
The Leaders
Barton College leads the way in the team competition after shooting a +31 (311) with four of the top 20 individual players. BC's Shelby Herbert is the top individual at +2 (72).
Glenville State is the second-place team midway through the tournament at +34. The Pioneers have three of the top eight individuals. GSU's Lizzie Bickar is tied with E&H's Bradley for second at +6.
