BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry University Women's Golf Team shot the third-best team score in program history on Tuesday on its way to a third-place finish at the King University Invitational. The Wasps' 36-hole tally of 620 (+52) was the second-best raw score and third-best score to par in program history.

Emory & Henry
Freshman McKenzie Hauk (Kingsport, Tenn.) and junior Katie Hall (Abingdon, Va.) each shot an even-par 71 on Tuesday to card the second-best rounds by an E&H player. Hauk moved up three places to finish as the runner-up of the tournament at +3 (74-71 – 145) while Hall soared 13 spots into a tie for third place at +7 (78-71 – 149).
Hauk's performance tied for the best two-day raw score in program history and tied for the third-best score to par. Hall's 149 tied for the fifth-best raw score.
Sophomore Abby Bradley (Castlewood, Va.) finished tied for 16th place after shooting a +10 (81) on Tuesday at +15 (76-81 – 157).
Senior Briah Frisbee (Leicester, N.C.) posted an 85 (+14) in the second round to tie for 35th at +27 (84-85 – 169) while senior Lexi Humbert (Greeneville, Tenn.) finished 46th overall at +34 (87-89 – 176).
The Winners
Union (Tenn.) University won the team title at +49 (300-317 – 617) by two strokes over Converse University (+51). Emory & Henry was just one shot back at +52 (312-308 – 620) finishing third.
Terra Schmitt from Barton College won the individual tournament with a score of -2 (72-68 - 140), topping Hauk by five strokes (74-71 - 145; +3).
