Emmanuel Men’s Wrestling Downs Emory & Henry, 55-0, In Conference Competition Wednesday

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Emmanuel (Ga.) College Men's Wrestling Team (1-0, 1-0 SACC) defeated Emory & Henry College (1-5, 0-1 SACC) in the Wasps' first ever South Atlantic Conference Carolinas dual on Wednesday evening. The Lions won all 10 weight classes on their way to the 55-0 win.

The Match
- The Lions began the dual with a 12-0 advantage due to forfeits at the 133-pound and 184-pound weight classes.
- Emmanuel would go on to register victories by fall at 141, 149, 157 and 165. The Lions also picked up a win by technical fall at 125-pounds.
- E&H freshman Alex Baumberger (Glade Hill, Va.) came up short at 174-pounds by a 22-7 technical fall score.
- Junior Wade Wheeler (Amherst, Va.) dropped a 6-1 decision to his opponent in the 285-pound weight class.
