King Men’s Wrestling Downs Emory & Henry, 47-6, Wednesday Evening In League Dual

EMORY, Va. – The King (Tenn.) University Men's Wrestling Team (4-4, 1-2 SACC) defeated Emory & Henry College (1-8, 0-3 SACC) in South Atlantic Conference Carolinas action on Wednesday evening. The Tornado won nine weight classes on their way to the 47-6 win.

The Match
- The Tornado began the dual with an 18-0 advantage due to forfeits at the 133-pound, 165-pound and 174-pound weight classes.
- King would go on to register victories by fall at 149, 157 and 184. The Tornado also picked up a win by technical fall at 125 pounds.
- E&H freshman Logan Arnold (Rocky Mount, Va.) was victorious in the 141-pound weight class, as he picked up a win by fall in 2:23.
- Freshman Hunter Brown (Vinton, Va.) lost a hard-fought decision at 197 pounds by a 6-2 margin.
- Junior Wade Wheeler (Amherst, Va.) dropped a 5-2 decision to his opponent at the 285-pound weight class.
