EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Wrestling Team (1-10, 0-6 Carolinas) battled to the end, but fell by a slim margin to Lincoln Memorial University (1-4, 1-4 Carolinas) in a Conference Carolinas dual Wednesday night. The Railsplitters took the win by a narrow 29-26 scoreline.

The Match
- The dual began at 12-6 in favor of the Railsplitters due to unfilled weight classes.
- Sophomore Logan Arnold (Rocky Mount, Va.) was dominant at 133 pounds, as he defeated Hernand Pinto by a 19-0 technical fall in 6:50 to get the Wasps on the board.
- Freshman Isaac Harris (Berkeley Springs, Va.) picked up a gritty win at 157 pounds, accumulating over a minute of riding time and taking down Graham Rocha of LMU by a 5-3 decision.
- Reigning Conference Carolinas Freshman Men's Wrestler of the Month for the month of December A.J. Marshall (Culpeper, Va.) left no doubt at 174 pounds, pinning Jack Hill in just 35 seconds for his sixth win by fall of the season.
- Freshman Tristan Lorenz (Fries, Va.) earned a win by forfeit at 184 pounds.
- Sophomore Hunter Brown (Vinton, Va.) put in arguably his best performance of the year at 285 pounds, earning the win by fall over Gabriel Croom in 2:32.
