- The Trojans began the dual with an 18-0 lead due to unfilled weight classes at 149, 184 and 285 pounds.
- Senior Tito Hernandez (Shelbyville, Tenn.) fell to Lens Mathurin by a 17-2 tech fall in 3:22 at 125 pounds.
- Senior Avery Almany (Bristol, Tenn.) was defeated by Eli Pendergrass by a 21-1 tech fall in 3:22 at the 133-pound weight class.
- Junior Logan Arnold (Rocky Mount, Va.) dropped a 19-3 tech fall decision in 3:00 to Benjamin Hernandez at 141 pounds.
- Mount Olive's Calan Staub defeated sophomore Sebastian Gaberrete (Jeffersonton, Va.) by a 23-6 tech fall in 5:16 at 174 pounds.
- Sophomore Evan Alger (Pulaski, Va.) fell to Raife Smart by a 20-3 tech fall in 6:27 at the 197-pound weight class.
