How It Happened
- The Wasps were first on the board in the opening minutes when freshman Kayla Spiegel (Jersey City, N.J.) broke loose and sprinted into the try zone to make it 5-0. E&H immediately struck again as freshman Alana Walker (Clayton, N.C.) took the ensuing kickoff back the distance for another try and junior Gracie Wall (Winder, Ga.) was good on the conversion kick as the lead ballooned to 12-0. Walker found paydirt again a few minutes later on another long sprint after she knifed through the Owls' defense. Another kick by Wall pushed the margin out to 19-0. Walker added another score to her tally when she took an offload from fellow freshman Kylie Richards (Painted Post, N.Y.) and scooted around the defense into the try zone for a 24-0 advantage. WWC responded with a try a few moments later to reduce the deficit to 24-5 but Spiegel would answer back on the following Wasps' possession with a long scoring run on an offload from Wall. Wall tacked on the conversion kick and the score stood at 31-5 in favor of E&H at the halftime break.
-  The Owls opened the scoring in the second half as they took the opening kick and marched down the pitch for a try to cut the lead to 31-10. Spiegel got the ball rolling offensively for E&H in the second half when she took an offload from Wall and rounded the defense for a try to push the score out to 36-10. The Wasps scored once more on the next possession as Richards offloaded to freshman Renee Kimbro (Lawrenceville, Ga.) who sprinted into the try zone for her first score in a Wasps uniform. Walker was good on the conversion to make it a 43-10 game. Senior Pearl Dill (Hardy, Va.) rounded out the scoring in the final minutes with her first try of the day. Wall drilled the conversion kick to put the finishing touches on the 50-10 victory.

Spiegel was named Emory & Henry Player of the Match for her play during the afternoon.
