FOREST, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Women's Soccer Team has received the number eight seed for the 2011 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament, league officials announced late Tuesday. It is the first time since 2006 that the Wasps have received a bid to the conference postseason.

Emory & Henry (9-7-1) will take on top-seeded Lynchburg College, which finished first in the regular season with a 15-2-1 record and earned 31 of a possible 33 points in conference play.

ODAC Tournament action begins Saturday, October 29, with four quarterfinal matchups to be played at the highest four seeds. The winners will play Wednesday, November 2, at the two highest remaining seeds. The ODAC Championship will take place on Saturday, November 5, on the campus of the remaining highest seed.
