EMORY, Va. – The Washington & Lee University Women's Soccer Team (5-1, 3-0 ODAC) picked up a 3-0 win over Emory & Henry College (5-1, 3-0 ODAC) in Old Dominion Athletic Conference play Tuesday afternoon at Fred Selfe Stadium.

The Generals got on the board in the 25th minute on a penalty kick. After the Wasp goalkeeper committed a foul in the box, Haley Ward was able to convert the penalty to put W&L up 1-0.

Six-and-a-half minutes into the second half (51:23), the Generals struck again. Jasmine Soo was able to pick off a pass deep in E&H territory and place it in the net for a 2-0 W&L lead.

Soo made the score 3-0 with 17:12 left to go in the match. She received a pass from Emily Scott on the left-hand side that she chipped over the head of the E&H goalkeeper.

W&L goalkeeper Addie Healey picked up the shutout for the Generals while E&H junior Sarah Jerome (Charlotte, N.C.) had eight saves despite the loss.

Washington and Lee held a 20-3 advantage on shots in the match and led 5-1 on corner kicks.
