No. 8 Lynchburg Women’s Soccer Too Much For Emory & Henry Friday Night

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The No. 8 Lynchburg College Women's Soccer Team (6-0, 2-0 ODAC) scored four goals in the first 11 minutes of play en route to a 10-0 win over visiting Emory & Henry College (1-6, 0-2 ODAC) Friday night at Shellenberger Stadium.

The Hornets, who have won eight of the last 10 Old Dominion Athletic Conference titles, were paced by Angela Bosco with four goals while Dessi Dupuy added two scores and an assist.

E&H senior forward Bethany Myer (Hickory, N.C.) had a pair of chances for the Wasps, but was unable to convert.

In goal, Lynchburg's Tess Frelick and Ashley Cox combined for the win. Emory & Henry sophomore Vicki Fenley (Chesapeake, Va.) had five saves while freshman Kayla Wright (Franklin County, Va.) notched four saves.

Emory & Henry will return to Fred Selfe Stadium on Tuesday afternoon for an ODAC contest against Roanoke College. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
