DANBURY, Conn. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Soccer Team has seen three of its players named as ECAC Women's Soccer Players of the Month for September. E&H sweeps the awards, winning at player, goalkeeper and rookie.

The awards come as part of the College's new partnership with the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference which provides additional opportunity for recognition and competition during the Wasps' process of reclassifying to NCAA Division II.

Junior midfielder Grace Williams (Earlysville, Va.) was selected as ECAC Division II Player of the Month as she has led the Wasps from her position in the defensive midfield. Through eight games played in September, she has scored three goals and added two assists. Williams got on the board with an assist in a 1-0 win over Brevard College (Sept. 2) to start the year and had the match-winning goal against Ferrum College two days later. She also scored the Wasps' lone goal at Converse University (Sept. 15).

Junior goalkeeper Natalie Capone (Kannapolis, N.C.) was named the ECAC Division II Goalkeeper of the Month as she has started every contest for the Wasps this year. She posted a 5-1-2 record with three individual shutouts while combining for another pair of clean sheets. Capone made a season-best seven saves on two different occasions (Sept. 4 vs. Ferrum; Sept. 22 at Mars Hill), allowing just four goals over the course of the month.

Freshman forward Camilla Dobraniecki (Chesapeake, Va.) earned ECAC Division II Rookie of the Month accolades. She currently leads the team with four goals on the year including a pair of match-winners. Dobraniecki burst on the scene, scoring the lone goal of the match in her collegiate debut for a victory against Brevard (Sept. 2). She followed that up with two goals, including the match-winner at Warren Wilson (Sept. 12) and tallied a score in the Wasps' win over Johnson & Wales (N.C.) University (Sept. 28).

Founded in 1938, the ECAC has more than 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions, stretching from Maine to Georgia to Missouri. Its mission is to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics, and provide great value for universities and colleges, by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments, and other competitions. Most of the ECAC's members also belong to another conference, which is often the school's primary conference.
