More specifically, E&H was one of six colleges - and the only NCAA Division II institution – to earn the Platinum designation. To qualify for this elite level of the award, a team must complete the entire season without receiving documented discipline (yellow or red cards) from a referee.

Across all divisions of college soccer, 17 teams were honored with "gold" awards, 45 with "silver" and an additional 46 with "bronze."

Founded in 1941, United Soccer Coaches is the world's largest soccer coaches' organization that serves members at every level of the game. Its mission is to provide programs and services that enhance, encourage, and contribute to the development and recognition of soccer coaches, their players, and the game.
