Emory & Henry Women’s Soccer Earns Team Academic Award From United Soccer Coaches

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the fifth time in six years, the Emory & Henry College Women's Soccer Team has been recognized for its performance in the classroom. The United Soccer Coaches announced on Wednesday that the Wasps are once again the recipient of the Team Academic Award.

E&H, which achieved a 3.37 team GPA during the 2022-23 academic year, was one of four schools from the South Atlantic Conference and 10 programs from the NCAA Division II Southeast Region to receive the honor.

The Team Academic Awards are presented by the United Soccer Coaches to college and university soccer teams that have achieved a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. In total, 502 teams from all levels of college soccer earned the designation.

Founded in 1941 as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, the United Soccer Coaches is the world's largest soccer coaches' organization, serving members at every level of the game.
