
EMORY, Va. – Emory & Henry College Head Women's Soccer Coach Filipe Barateiro has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. The Wasps embark on their third season in the South Atlantic Conference and their first as a full member of the NCAA Division II ranks. This season marks the first in which E&H are fully eligible for NCAA postseason competition.

Emory & Henry will get the season underway with a pair of exhibition matches against Division I opponents. The Wasps travel to take on Radford University on Thursday, August 22, before traveling to face Virginia Military Institute on Sunday, August 25.
E&H enters the regular season with three consecutive non-conference matches. First up is a road match at Shaw University on Thursday, September 5, followed by a neutral site match at Roanoke College against Washington Adventist University on Sunday, September 8. E&H hits the road once more on Wednesday, September 11 for a rematch from the 2023 season against the Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College.
Emory & Henry returns home for the inaugural match at the Food City Sports Complex on Sunday, September 15 as the Wasps open South Atlantic Conference play against Anderson (S.C.) University. E&H then welcomes the Trojans of Virginia State University on Wednesday, September 18, before a SAC road match versus Lenoir-Rhyne University on Saturday, September 21.
The Wasps host Carolina University on Wednesday, September 25, then make the trip to the mountains of North Carolina for a matchup against the Lions of Mars Hill University on Saturday, September 28.
The month of October starts with back-to-back home matches against Carson-Newman University (Wed., Oct. 2) and Coker University (Sun., Oct. 6). The Wasps step out of SAC play on Wednesday, October 9 as they make the short trip to take on border rival King (Tenn.) University. E&H returns to conference action at Limestone University (Sat., Oct. 12), home against Tusculum University (Wed., Oct. 16) and at Catawba College (Sat., Oct. 19).
Newberry College visits Southwest Virginia on Sunday, October 27, then the Wasps wrap up the 2024 home slate against Bluefield State University on Wednesday, October 30 for Senior Day. E&H is back on the road for the final two contests of the year at Wingate University (Sat., Nov. 2) and at Lincoln Memorial (Wed., Nov. 6).
