BAC increased its lead to two in the 23rd minute after a bouncing ball fell to the feet of Reagan Cullen who slotted the ball into the back of the net. The Wasps best scoring chance of the half came in the 37th minute when sophomore midfielder Charlotte Stavis (Charlotte, N.C.) launched a shot at goal that was saved by Belmont Abbey goalkeeper Brianna Sroka to keep the deficit at two heading into halftime.
