EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry University Women's Soccer Team (6-4-2, 1-4-2 SAC) fell in South Atlantic Conference play to No. 8 nationally-ranked and SAC-leading Catawba College (11-0-2, 6-0-1 SAC) Sunday afternoon. The Lady Catawba Indians tallied four second-half goals to earn the 4-0 victory.

How It Happened
- There was not much to separate the two teams in the opening half, as they both had to battle the rain and the wind. Catawba had the lion's share of the possession, outshooting the Wasps 5-0 in the first 30 minutes of play but the score remained 0-0. The Lady Catawba Indians tallied a total of eight shots in the first frame, but senior goalkeeper Adriana Rehg (Talbott, Tenn.) was up to the task as she made a pair of saves to keep the visitors off of the scoreboard heading into the halftime locker room.
- Catawba opened the scoring in the 51st minute when Ella Matthews found the back of the net to make it 1-0. Ali Skinner added another on an assist from Kylie Morin in the 58th minute to run the Catawba lead out to 2-0. The visitors from Salisbury would add two more goals in a span of 41 seconds in the 66th minute to round out their 4-0 victory.

- Junior forward Siena Booth (Wesley Chapel, Fla.) tallied the lone shot of the afternoon for the Wasps.
- Rehg finished with seven total saves in goal for Emory & Henry
Catawba Individual Leaders
- Morgan Delair paced Catawba with a goal on a match-high four attempts while Skinner scored her goal on three shots. Bree Ehmer recorded three shots while Maria Rayburn, Matthews and Morin all had a pair of pops at goal.
- Jennia Dahne played all 90 minutes to earn the win for Catawba.
