ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Swimming Team has been picked to finish sixth in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Friday.

Wingate University, two-time SAC Champion and 11th-place finisher at the 2024 NCAA Division II Championships, has been chosen to repeat its title with five of six first-place votes. Carson-Newman University grabbed the other top nod and is second while Catawba College is third and Lenoir-Rhyne University is fourth. Mars Hill University is fifth while Emory & Henry is sixth.
Additionally, the SAC has announced its Swimmers to Watch List with seniors Paige Gelenski (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Hope Christensen (Moroni, Utah) as well as juniors Mackenzie Barnett (Monroe Township, N.J.) and Samantha Pepevnik (Porsgrunn, NORWAY) making the list for E&H.
The 2024 SAC Championships will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center beginning Wednesday, February 5 and running through Saturday, February 8.
