Maddy Beekler is in her third year as the Assistant Men's & Women's Swimming Coach at Emory & Henry College. She is responsible for assisting in all aspects of the program including training, recruiting and day-to-day operations.

Beekler came to E&H after serving as a Graduate Assistant Men's & Women's Swimming Coach at Eastern Illinois University for two seasons. During her time in Charleston, Illinois, the Panthers set six pool records and a total of 85 top-10 program times. She assisted in recruiting, training, operations and fundraising.

As an undergraduate, Beekler was a four-time All-Mountain East Conference performer at Fairmont State University. She helped lead the Fighting Falcons to the 2018 MEC Championship and was a first-team all-conference selection as a senior in the 100-yard butterfly and the 200-yard medley relay. Beekler was part of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and served as the organization's secretary in the 2018-19 academic year. 

Beekler has coached at the club level since the fall of 2006 beginning with the East Pennsboro Aquatic Club and including the Elite Performance Aquatic Club (Harrisburg, Pa.) and Fairmont Area Swim Team. She has also been a lifeguard at multiple community aquatic centers.

Beekler received a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science with minors in psychology and outdoor recreation from Fairmont State in 2019. She holds a Master of Science in sports administration, which she earned from Eastern Illinois in 2021.

A native of Enola, Pennsylvania, Beekler now resides in Abingdon.
