SWEET BRIAR, Va. - The Sweet Briar College Women's Tennis Team (5-9, 2-6 ODAC) bounced back from a 2-1 deficit after doubles to defeat Emory & Henry College (5-9, 0-6 ODAC) by a 5-4 score Friday afternoon at the Williams Gym Courts.

Sophomore Sheyenne Cleveland (Rural Retreat, Va.) and freshman Meredith Yeary (Knoxville, Tenn.) teamed up at No. 2 doubles and earned an 8-6 decision for the Wasps other win of the day.

Emory & Henry will next take the court on Sunday, April 7 as it hosts Guilford College in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match. The Wasps were scheduled to play the Hornets of Lynchburg College on Saturday, but found out Friday night that the match had been forfeited by Lynchburg due to an insufficent number of players.
