EMORY, Va. – The No. 22 Washington and Lee University Women's Tennis Team (10-1, 9-0 ODAC) picked up a 9-0 win over Emory & Henry College (6-4, 0-2 ODAC) Tuesday afternoon at Richardson Tennis Courts.

Freshman Stella Di Michele (San Remo, ITALY) took two games in each set off of Sonja Meighan, who is ranked No. 2 in the Atlantic South Region. Senior Alyssa Wingate (Independence, Va.) fell by a 6-3 6-0 score to Meghan Buell, the region's 17th-ranked player.

The Generals took a 3-0 lead after doubles and cruised to the 9-0 win over the Wasps.

Emory & Henry will be back in action on Saturday at noon when it hosts Roanoke College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action.
