BRISTOL, Tenn. - The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team (12-5, 4-5 ODAC) continued its success with a 9-0 non-conference win over Mary Baldwin University (0-15) Friday afternoon. With their 12th win of the year, the Wasps set a new record for wins in the "dual-meet championship" era of the program (since 2006-07).

How It Happened
The Wasps started the match with a 2-0 lead due to Mary Baldwin only having five active players. E&H completed the sweep in doubles with a pair of 8-0 wins at No. 1 and No. 2.
Senior Katie Meade (Coeburn, Va.) won 6-1, 6-0 at the top singles flight while senior Kaitlyn Sheaves (Staunton, Va.) earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2. Senior Vanna Summers (Bluff City, Tenn.), freshman Logan Graham (Radford, Va.) and senior Tessa Johnston (High Point, N.C.) each tallied 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 3-No. 5 singles, respectively.
Johnston and freshman Cailie Pollard (Rural Retreat, Va.) won an exhibition match 8-4 in doubles while senior Bri Pierce (Purlear, N.C.) claimed an 8-6 "pro-set" win in singles exhibition.
