KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team (1-2) closed out its fall season with an 8-1 win against Johnson University (1-2) Tuesday afternoon.

How It Happened
Emory & Henry juuped out to a 3-0 lead after picking up wins in all three doubles matches. The Wasps sealed the victory by rolling through the top three singles flights and added a pair of pro-set victories and No. 4 and No. 5 singles.

Sophomores Logan Graham (Radford, Va.) and Cailie Pollard (Rural Retreat, Va.) won, 8-4, at No. 2 doubles as Graham claimed a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles. Freshman Payton Holt (Mount Ulla, N.C.) notched a 6-1, 6-0 victory at the top singles flight. Pollard dropped just one game as earned an 8-1 pro-set victory at No. 4.
