EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team (10-7) picked up a 4-0 win against Johnson & Wales (N.C.) University (0-10) on Sunday afternoon at home. The match was also Senior Day for the Wasps who honored Payton Holt (Mount Ulla, N.C.) and Makenzie Mendler (Fuquay-Varina, N.C.) before first serve.

How It Happened
Holt and Mendler earned the doubles point for the Wasps as they grabbed a 6-1 win.

In singles action, Holt shut out her opponent - 6-0, 6-0 - at No. 1 while freshman Bronwyn McAlindon (Kingsport, Tenn.) grabbed a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3. Mendler closed the victory with a 6-2, 6-1 score at the second singles flight.
