Sophomore Sabina Chernega (Odesa, UKRAINE) represented Emory & Henry as one of 257 women's tennis players from across NCAA Division II to make the team. This includes a total of 23 honorees from the South Atlantic Conference.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Women's Tennis Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of play and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early June.
