
EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry University Women's Tennis Team (2-11, 1-8 SAC) and Men's Tennis Team (1-12, 0-9 SAC) each fell to the Saints of Limestone University in South Atlantic Conference play Saturday afternoon. The Saints' women's team earned a 4-2 victory while the men swept the Wasps by a 4-0 final.

Men's Match
- The Saints took wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to earn the doubles point and the 1-0 advantage.
- Sophomore Niclas Naedele (Munich, GERMANY) was defeated 0-6, 0-6 by Obrad Markovski at No. 1 singles.
- Freshman Leo Knothe (Hanover, GERMANY) fell 0-6, 1-6 to Andre Zamorano at the No. 2 singles spot.
- Junior Nathan Spurling (Abingdon, Va.) trailed Rodolfo Villavicencio 2-6, 0-3 when their match was left unfinished.
- Junior Tristan Hicks (Abingdon, Va.) dropped a 0-6, 4-6 decision to Come De Lorgeril at No. 3 singles.
- Junior Keenan Glago (Harrisonburg, Va.) was behind 3-6, 2-3 at No. 4 singles against Giovane Calou.
- Senior Alvaro Garcia (Madrid, SPAIN) dropped the first set 1-6 and was trailing 3-4 in the second to Theo Casadei at the No. 6 singles position.
Women's Match
- The doubles team of sophomore Karlie Quinn (Mocksville, N.C.) and junior Nina Williams (Fleet, ENGLAND) picked up a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles, but the Saints took wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 3 doubles to jump ahead by the 1-0 margin.
- Senior Sabina Chernega (Odesa, UKRAINE) lost the first set 0-6, but led 6-5 in the second set when her No. 1 singles match with Monika Temkova was unfinished.
- Freshman Tahnne Sesma (Zumaia, SPAIN) fell 0-6, 2-6 to Galilea Amavizca at No. 2 singles.
- Freshman Ellyson Kovacs (Bristol, Tenn.) dropped a 0-6, 0-6 decision to Maria Gomez at the No. 3 singles spot.
- Williams was defeated 1-6, 3-6 by Greta Langiu at No. 4 singles.
- Sophomore Olivia Pursley (Hendersonville, N.C.) was dominant at No. 5 singles as she made quick work of Maria Fernandes by a 6-0, 6-1 scoreline.
- Sophomore Meghan Moore (Midlothian, Va.) dispatched Emmy Humphries 6-3, 6-0 at the No. 6 singles position.
