Records Fall For Emory & Henry Track & Field at WildCat Track Festival Saturday

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Track & Field Teams saw three school records go down along with 18 top-10 performances at Randolph College's WildCat Track Festival Saturday.

Top Men's Performances
- Senior Conor White (Warrenton, Va.) broke two Emory & Henry records, going 4:07.11 to finish second in the 1,500 meters and 1:58.64 in the 800 meters which was good for third.
- Freshman Orryn McGlone (Bristol, Va.) was seventh in the 100 meters and 10th in the 400 meters while freshman Kesean Goins (Sugar Grove, Va.) took eighth in the 100 meters.
- Junior Edward Rajner (Bainbridge, N.Y.) posted a runner-up finish in the discus (42.99m) and was third in the shot put at 12.97 meters and fifth in the hammer throw (38.01m) while junior Donovan Pinnix (Eden, N.C.) grabbed second in the shot put with a throw of 13.06 meters in his first outing of the year. He was also 10th in the discus at 33.89 meters.
- Junior Brody Fields (Pulaski, Va.) sophomore Justin Brown (Stuarts Draft, Va.) were seventh and ninth in the shot put, respectively.

Women's Top Performances
- Junior Lorin Zehr (Holly Pond, Ala.) set a new record in the shot put with a throw of 10.06 meters to finish sixth. She was fifth in the hammer throw (32.33m) and sixth in the discus (27.22m).
- Freshman Annalyse McHone (Shawsville, Va.) took third in the 5,000 meters, stopping the watches in 20:54.12 while freshman Madeline Bishop (Bristol, Va.) claimed sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:46.01.

Up Next
- Emory & Henry will conclude the 2021 outdoor track & field season on the weekend of Friday, April 30 and Saturday, May 1 at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships. University of Lynchburg will serve as the host of this year's championship meet.
