ROANOKE, Va. – Emory & Henry College senior outside hitter Jamie Cockerham (Galax, Va.) has been named to the 2012 Hollins Invitational All-Tournament Team, Hollins Head Coach Bill Shook announced Thursday.

Cockerham led the Wasps on the weekend with 58 kills and 27 digs, as the team posted a 3-1 record. She tallied double-doubles against Virginia Intermont College (14 kills, 13 digs) and Meredith College (12 kills, 10 digs).

Emory & Henry defeated Virginia Intermont, 3-1, Gettysburg College, 3-2 and Wesleyan (Ga.) College, 3-0. The Wasps' lone setback on the weekend was a 3-0 loss to Meredith College.

For the year, Cockerham is averaging a team-leading 3.85 kills per set and 2.12 digs per set. She also leads the squad with 127 kills and 10 service aces.

Emory & Henry opens Old Dominion Athletic Conference play on Friday evening when it travels to Bridgewater College. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
