DANVILLE, Va. – Emory & Henry College Volleyball sophomore outside hitter Tristen Pennington (Kingsport, Tenn.) has been named to the 20th Cougar Classic All-Tournament Team, Averett University Head Coach Danny Miller announced Wednesday.

Pennington led the Wasps on the weekend with 42 kills, 36 digs and 10 service aces, as the team posted a 2-2 record. She tallied 15 kills and four aces against Guilford College and a double-double (10 kills, 15 digs) versus Averett. She also notched nine kills in the Wasps' match against Central (Iowa) College and had eight kills, nine digs and five service aces against Greensboro College.

Emory & Henry defeated Guilford, 3-1, and Greensboro, 3-1 on the weekend. For the year, Pennington is averaging 2.78 kills, 2.33 digs and .72 service aces per set.

Emory & Henry will travel to Fayetteville, North Carolina on Saturday for a tri-match with Methodist University and North Carolina Wesleyan College.
