Ali Singleton Named To The River City Volleyball All-Tournament Team

ASTON, Pa. – The Emory & Henry College Volleyball team has seen senior outside hitter Ali Singleton (Mount Jackson, Va.) selected to the River City All-Tournament Team, Marietta College officials announced late Sunday evening.

The 2016 All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference Second-Teamer averaged 2.14 kills per set over four matches last weekend. Her best hitting performance came on Saturday against Thiel College when she had nine kills on 22 attempts with no errors (.409). Singleton also notched a pair of matches with double-digit kills, going for 10 against Thiel and 13 against Mount St. Joseph University.

Emory & Henry (0-4, 0-0 ODAC) looks to get on the winning track tomorrow when it hosts Ferrum College at 7:00 p.m. The contest, which will be played at the John Rutledge King Center, will be the last non-conference meeting between the two rivals as the Panthers will join the ODAC as a full member prior to the 2018 season.
