Maryville Volleyball Defeats Emory & Henry, 3-0, Tuesday In Non-Conference Contest

MARYVILLE, Tenn. – The Maryville (Tenn.) College Volleyball Team (22-6) picked up a win in straight sets over visiting Emory & Henry College (8-16) Tuesday evening. The USA South Athletic Conference-leading Scots took the match by scores of 25-17, 26-24 and 25-21.

Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Redshirt freshman right-side hitter Carley Williams (Bristol, Tenn.) led the team with eight kills while sophomore middle Makayla Payne (Bristol, Va.) added six kills and two digs.
- Freshman setters Marissa Snapp (Chuckey, Tenn.) and Abbie Dillon (Goodview, Va.) posted 15 and 14 assists, respectively.
- Senior libero Lauren Coolidge (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and sophomore defensive specialist Abbie Jennings (Marion, Va.) had nine digs each while Jennings tacked on two service aces.

Maryville Individual Leaders
- Madison Wilkerson had eight kills while Meredith Bonee contributed seven kills, nine assists, seven digs and three aces.
- Saidee McDaniel dished-out 19 assists while MacKenzie Marcrum finished 12 digs.

- Emory & Henry will play its final Old Dominion Athletic Conference match of the year on Thursday when it visits Bridgewater College. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
