BRISTOL, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Volleyball Team evened its season record at 2-2 on Friday as it played the two of four matches at the King Invitational. The Wasps fell to the Bobcats of Lees-McRae College (2-3) by a 3-2 score to open the day but bounced back with a 3-2 win over the Young Harris College Mountain Lions (0-5) in the nightcap.

The Lees-McRae Match
- Junior right-side hitter Carley Williams (Bristol, Tenn.) put up 21 kills and five blocks to lead the Wasps while sophomore middle Hannah Watson (Kingsport, Tenn.) had 10 kills and two blocks.
- Freshman outside hitter Camden Jones (Bristol, Va.) registered nine kills and 17 digs while freshman middle Samantha Worthy (Arden, N.C.) led the team with eight blocks.
- Freshman setter Paige Halcrow (Oak Ridge, Tenn.) had a double-double with 30 assists and 17 digs while sophomore libero Abbie Hutzler (Fairview, N.C.) went for four kills, four assists, three aces and 27 digs.
The Young Harris Match
- Williams came up big again for E&H, with 14 kills on a .423 (14-3-26) hitting percentage to go along with six blocks. Jones had another double-double with 13 kills and 10 digs while Watson contributed 12 kills and five blocks, hitting .476 (12-2-21).
- Junior setter Marissa Snapp (Chuckey, Tenn.) put up 23 assists, 10 digs and three aces for a double-double while Halcrow had a double-double of her own with 18 assists, 14 digs and four aces.
- Hutler contributed 13 digs and two aces in the winning effort.
