Emory & Henry Volleyball Concludes Play In The Seahawk Invitational Saturday

NAMPA, Idaho – The Emory & Henry College Volleyball Team (0-4) closed out its opening weekend at the Seahawk Invitational on Saturday with another pair of matches. The Wasps faced off against the Rollins College Tars (1-3) and the host Northwest Nazarene University (3-1) in the final day of the tournament.

The Basics

The Rollins Match
- Junior outside hitter Brianna Hogan (Front Royal, Va.) posted seven kills, seven digs and three blocks to lead the offense. Junior middle Hannah Watson (Kingsport, Tenn.) and sophomore middle Samantha Worthy (Arden, N.C.) both posted three kills with Watson tacking on three blocks.
- Freshman setter Payton Rolfsen (Fort Wayne, Ind.) went for 16 assists, two kills and two digs as junior libero Sarah Moore (Kingsport, Tenn.) added six digs and two assists.

The Northwest Nazarene Match
- Senior right-side hitter Carley Williams (Bristol, Tenn.) put up six kills, two blocks and four digs while Hogan notched six kills, four digs and a service ace.
- Rolfsen notched 15 assists, three kills and five digs while junior libero Libby Bickelhaupt (Fort Myers, Fla.) collecting 10 digs and two assists.
