How It Happened

The Bears woke up through the middle of the frame, and another 8-1 streak in favor of the home team gave them a cushion they would not relinquish on their way to a 25-15 opening-set win.
- The Wasps started the second stanza on a hot streak, and played their way out to a 15-9 margin at the midpoint. E&H held the lead 18-12, but LR kicked into gear in the latter stages as the Bears utilized an 11-0 run en route to a 25-21 set win.
- The third set was evenly-played over the opening points and the score stood deadlocked at 8-8. The match of runs continued, as the Bears rattled off 11 of the next 12 points to establish a 19-9 margin. LR kept the Wasps at arm's length over the remainder of the set as they clinched the frame and the match 25-14.
