Emory & Henry Women’s Wrestling Competes At The Robert Horton Memorial Sunday

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Wrestling Team sent three athletes to the Robert Horton Memorial Women's Tournament, hosted by Emmanuel (Ga.) College Sunday.

The Basics

123-Pound Weight Class
- Freshman Dafne Aguilar Martinez (Pharr, Texas) went 1-4 in round-robin competition on her way to a fifth-place finish. She won her final match of the day by fall in 2:23.

130-Pound Weight Class
- Freshman MaryAnne Walker (Manchester, Tenn.) advanced to the second consolation round before exiting the tournament tied for ninth.

191-Pound Weight Class
- Junior Andreia Langley (Chilhowie, Va.) won her opening round match by decision before falling in the semifinals. She finished tied for fifth after reaching the consolation semifinals.
