No. 15 Presbyterian Women’s Wrestling Defeats Emory & Henry, 37-10, Friday Night

CLINTON, S.C. – The T-No. 15 Presbyterian College Women's Wrestling Team picked up a 37-10 win over visiting Emory & Henry College (8-5) Friday. The Wasps earned a pair of individual victories over the nationally-ranked Blue Hose despite the team loss.

The Match
- The match began with the Blue Hose ahead, 15-0, due to unfilled weight classes.
- PC earned a pair of wins by fall at 109 and 116 pounds as well as two victories by technical superiority at 116 and 143 to clinch the team win.
- Emory & Henry got its first win of the evening at 155 with freshman Molly Keller (Fairlawn, Va.) pinning Isabella Badon in 2:48.
- At 170 pounds, sophomore Katie Gakin (Aberdeen, Wash.) earned a 4-1 decision over Ta'Niya Roberts.
- The match closed as sophomore Brittney Reed (Sandston, Va.) battled to a 3-1 loss by decision in the 191-pound weight class against Ella Beam.
