No. 3 King Women’s Wrestling Tops Emory & Henry, 40-8, Wednesday

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The No. 3 King (Tenn.) University Women's Wrestling Team dealt visiting Emory & Henry College (8-6) a 40-8 decision on Wednesday evening in dual match action. It was the final dual of the season for E&H, which finishes with a winning record for the first time in the three years of the program.

The Match
- The match began with the nationally-ranked Tornado ahead, 15-5, due to unfilled weight classes. Sophomore Brittney Reed (Sandston, Va.) got the forfeit win at 191 for the Wasps.
- Emory & Henry freshman Molly Keller (Fairlawn, Va.) got a win at 155 as she earned a tiebreaker decision win over Yasmine Olivera. Down 8-2 midway through the second period, Keller scored six in a row to tie things up at 8-8 with two seconds remaining. Her last-scoring action gave her the victory.
- KU earned four wins by fall at 109, 123, 130 and 170 pounds to clinch the team win.
