Emory & Henry Cross Country Sets 2022 Season Schedule

EMORY, Va. – In conjunction with the start of preseason practice, the Emory & Henry College Men's & Women's Cross Country Teams have released their meet schedule for 2022. Led by Head Coach Leroy Worley and Assistant Coach Austin Tolbert, the Wasps will race against new compeition as members of the South Atlantic Conference.

Emory & Henry gets the season started on Saturday, September 3 at the Fleet Feet Invitational, hosted by Catawba College. The race will take place at Community Park in Salisbury, North Carolina and serve as the de facto SAC Championship Preview Meet.

Next up for the Wasps is the Queen City Invitational at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, September 23. E&H returns to McAlpine park two weeks later for the Royals Challenge on Friday, October 7. Both meets are being hosted by Queens University of Charlotte.

On Friday, October 14, Emory & Henry treks to Salem, Virginia to compete in the Roanoke XC Invitational at Green Hill Park. Roanoke College will serve as the host institution.

The Wasps close out the regular season with a third trip to Charlotte, this time for the JWU Wildcat XC Classic, hosted by Johnson & Wales (N.C.) University on Friday, October 21.

Emory & Henry will close out the year at the South Atlantic Conference Championships at Community Park in Salisbury on Saturday, November 5. The Wasps will not be eligible to win the conference championship but can compete for a place in the meet.
