Nick Copas is entering his fifth year as an Assistant Football Coach at Emory & Henry College and his first as recruiting coordinator. Copas' primary position group is the team's stable of running backs.

Last year, he saw Grayson Overstreet named to the All-ODAC First Team as he rushed for 413 yards in four games and scored a team-high six touchdowns. As a unit, the Wasps ran for 206 yards per game and scored nine of their 15 offensive touchdowns on the ground. During his first year with E&H in 2019, Copas was tasked with coaching the team's tight ends.

Before joining the staff at Emory & Henry, Copas was an assistant coach at Sullivan North High School in Kingsport, Tennessee, working with the quarterbacks. He spent the 2017 season as a defensive backs coach at Science Hill High School in Johnson City.

Copas is a 2019 graduate of East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in physical education. He played one year of collegiate baseball at Bryan College prior to transferring to ETSU.
