HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IHSA Team closed out the 2017-18 season on Thursday at the 2018 Intercollegiate Horse Shows Association National Finals. This year's show is being held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.

Sophomore Bobbie Jo Adsit (Montpelier, Va.) was the Wasps' only IHSA Finals qualifier this year, but represented E&H well on the national stage. She earned her place at the national show by virtue of winning the Zone 4 Championship in both Novice Equitation Over Fences and Intermediate Equitation on the Flat.

Adsit started the day with a Reserve National Champion finish in Novice Fences. Marcus Livermore of Morrisville State (N.Y.) College was the national champion.

The sophomore completed her competition with an eighth-place finish in Intermediate on the Flat. Champion honors went to Delaware Valley University's Emily Wilmot.

The IHSA National Finals will continue through Sunday.
