ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Outdoor Track & Field Team has been picked to finish 12th in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Friday.

E&H will compete in its first year as a member of the South Atlantic Conference during the 2022-23 season as it continues the transition from Division III to Division II.
Lenoir-Rhyne University and Wingate University are deadlocked at the top of the list at 116 points and six first-place votes each. Catawba College is third while Anderson University rounds out the top four.
Additionally, the SAC has announced its Athletes to Watch List with freshmen Taylorann Cash (Buena Vista, Va.), Delaney Eller (Salem, Va.), Scarlett Eversley (Dumfries, Va.) and Madison Ricketts (Kingsport, Tenn.) making the list for E&H.
Emory & Henry will open the outdoor season at the Doc Jopson Invitational on March 25. The meet will be hosted by former Old Dominion Athletic Conference foe Bridgewater College.
