2022-23 SAC Indoor Track & Field Athlete to Watch

2024 Outdoor: Competed in all five meets ... Finished 18th at the South Atlantic Conference Championships in the discus (28.36m) and the hammer (34.03m) and was 24th in the shot put (9.30m) ... Threw a personal record 31.72 meters in the discus at the Concord Invitational (Apr. 12) ... Had season bests of 9.87 meters in the shot put (Phoenix Invitational; Mar. 22) and 35.20 meters in the hammer (Cole Piper Open; Apr. 27).

2023-24 Indoor: Competed in all seven meets ... Had a personal-best throw of 10.40 meters in the shot put at the VMI Team Challenge (Jan. 20) ... Finished 21st in the shot at the SAC Championships (10.06m) ... Threw a 10.47 meters in the weight throw at the Bast-Cregger Invitational (Dec. 8-9).

2023 Outdoor: Competed in all five meets … Broke the program record in the shot put at the LR Bears Open (Apr. 21-22) with a distance of 10.23 meters to finish tenth … Also set a new program standard in the hammer throw at the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships (May 3) with a throw of 36.29 meters and set a personal best in the discus throw at 24.73 meters.

2022-23 Indoor: Competed in six meets during her freshman year … Threw her personal-best distance in the weight throw at the Kaye & JJ Smith Invitational (Jan. 15) with a toss of 11.11 meters to finish tenth while also finishing ninth in the shot put … Picked up a fifth-place finish in the shot put at the Liberty Open (Feb. 4).
